Trek to Angkor Wat

Trek through majestic valleys, experience the local life and discover ancient sites on this trip of a lifetime. 

Join us and fellow explorers for a five-day trek through rural Cambodia. Our challenge will see you explore the ancient capital of the Khmer Empire, before travelling through rural valleys, dense forests and the upper plains of the Kulen Mountain. 

You'll take on the warm climate whilst discovering ancient cities and beautiful landscapes, and the trek will conclude at Angkor Wat - a UNESCO World Heritage Site and one of the most impressive spots in Southeast Asia.  

Not only will you get the chance to enjoy a once in a lifetime trek, but the money you raise through sponsorship will help support families and patients when they need it most. Every member of the team completing this challenge will be doing it for St Peter's Hospice. 

Nick took part in our Himalayan Trek in 2022: 

"I signed up a year before when I realised the trek dates fell on a significant birthday. Ten months of street collections, sweepstakes and JustGiving pages later, I was halfway around the world with a team of Bristolians, slapping on suncream one day and balancing on logs across rivers the next! It was so touching to hear each other's stories and learn why we were choosing to support the Hospice - and with a combined fundraising total of £58k, we certainly did that. I would do anything to go back!"

Costs and Fundraising 

The challenge will take place 7-15 March 2026  

It costs £299 to register (followed by £150 to be paid eight weeks before the challenge), and all participants will need to raise a minimum of £3,800 to support the work of St Peter's Hospice. 

You'll need to raise 80% of the total (£3,000) by 28 November 2025 to have your place confirmed. The full amount will need to have been raised by 27 April 2026 (6 weeks before the trek).
