Everyone with a life limiting illness deserves access to the best possible care and to live their final days with dignity. Every year St Peter's Hospice makes a difference in the lives of thousands of patients and their families during the most difficult of times. We could not do the work that we do without the incredible generosity of our supporters and participants. Every pound you raise or donate by taking on the Tour de Bristol, however big or small, makes a difference to the lives of the many people we care for every year.

Online Page

Setting up an online fundraising page is the easiest way to start gathering sponsorship and spreading the message about the challenge you’re taking on.

Set up a JustGiving page and personalise it by adding photos, a fundraising target, and sharing your story. Supporters will love to read about what or who has inspired you to get on your bike for St Peter's Hospice.

Add updates to your page as you train, share it on your social media and add the link to your email signature. You can also link it to your Strava account so that your supporters can see all your training rides and cheer as you take on the big ride.

Download a poster

Spread the word about the challenge that you've taken on by printing this poster and putting it on display. Add more details about why you're riding for St Peter's Hospice, and what your friends and colleagues can do to support you - whether that's visiting your JustGiving page, adding some pennies to a collection box, or buying some raffle tickets.

Run a sweepstake

Bring out your friends and colleagues' competitive side with our 'Guess my Time' sweepstake! Download a sweepstake form and ask everyone to predict what time they think you will complete the kilometres in exchange for a donation. Check your chip timing after the day and then whoever guessed the closest gets a prize - it could be a bottle of wine, half the cash from all the guesses, or even the offer of making them a cup of tea every day for a week. A great way to raise some extra funds for the Hospice!

Fundraising Tips

Start as early as you possibly can, and keep reminding everyone!
If your supporters are eligible to gift aid, ask them to give their full name and home address and tick the Gift Aid box on your sponsorship form or online page - it'll mean the Government will pay St Peter’s Hospice an extra 25p for every £1 that's donated at no extra cost to you. Win win!

Put a collection box out on the till of your local shop, café or pub. Or, put one of our cardboard collection boxes or a DIY collection jar in the office by the biscuit tin. Get in touch on 01275 391400 to get a collection box.

If you would rather send the money to us offline, you can post a cheque, made payable to 'St Peter's Hospice', plus your completed sponsorship form to:
