Laura Violet came up with the brilliant idea of raising joint funds for Dorothy House in Bradford on Avon, and St. Peter's Hospice in Bristol, which looked after Kirsty, and which her family very much respected and appreciated.

The school reunion this weekend marks 20 years since we were all in the classroom together, but sadly Kirsty will not be able to join us. She passed away in September 2010 following a nine-month struggle against cervical cancer. Those of us who knew her well, remember the good times we shared as she was always so full of fun, always joking and laughing. Her friends' and family meant the world to her and she is sorely missed.
