Volunteer with our eCommerce Team

Our eCommerce team is based in Avonmouth, close to the Portway Park and Ride and train station, and junction 18/18A of the M5. We sell online across a number of platforms, including eBay and our Hospice online shop. If you're looking to meet new people, keep up to date with your IT skills, or love a hands-on task, come and meet the team.

You can get involved in a range of activities including creating accurate product listings, photographing items for sale online, packing orders, and stock management.

We sell everything from collectables, clothing, electricals, antiques, instruments and jewellery.

  • Product listing - creating accurate descriptions of products for sale on our online platforms, including eBay. Opportunities available Mon-Fri.
  • Photography - taking pictures of our donated items using a point-and-shoot camera. These are the pictures our listers use online. Opportunities available Tues-Wed.
  • Packing orders - safely packaging our sold items for postage. We use sustainable packaging including biodegradable packing peanuts, recyclable bubblewrap, gummed paper machines and a high percentage of re-used cardboard boxes. Opportunities available Mon, Wed and Fri.
  • Engraving personalised orders - new for 2025! We're branching out into personalised engraved items, and we need someone to help process orders using our engraving machine. No experience needed, as full training will be provided. Opportunities available on Mondays.
  • Drivers - play a vital role by picking up high value items donated to our stores and transporting them to our eBay team in Avonmouth. The team then list them on the eBay site earning much needed funds for patient care. You'll need a good sense of direction and be happy to brave the Bristol traffic. We will pay your mileage costs as part of this role.

Take a look at our ebay shop and see what type of work we do.
